The folks over at voodoo extreme got their hands on a bunch of screenshots of upcoming content for Age of Conan, content anticipated in the recently announced expansion slated for early 2009 if rumors are true.  I'd have to see the locations / zones personally to comment on them, having a ridiculously detailed play area that is so graphic intense that it grinds yoru system down to a chugging crawl isn't considered by many to be worth the extra "pretty" factor.  I would hope that Funcom goes abotu this new content in a "safe" way that will not further degrade performance on mid ranged systems.

The armor sets and the face masks are definitely scoring ponts on the coolness factor, no debate there I think.  Check them out yourself and see what you think.
