Greetings denizens of Hyboria.  With today's patch Demonologists across the lands awoke with a nasty surprise, their AE Spells had been modified.  Now both variants of their AE abilities have a recast time component added to them.  This basically means that you will not be able to chain cast your preferred AE spell (Fire or Lightning) quick enough to kill multiple mobs at once.  You will have to rotate in both of your AE's in order to accomplish what you did previously with your preferred focused AE ability.

Considering the frailty of a demonologist prior to this change, I hope that the dev types are looking carefully at the classes role in group and solo play prior to setting this type of change live.  I have not tested it enguh myself to truly grasp the depth of the change, but I am sure I'll have a stronger opinion of it very very soon.
